Motivations
I've been using CMUS for many years to play music. As part of my Evergreen media server project, I've acquired quite a bit of music through Bandcamp, and this has been my preferred lightweight means of playing music. It's a nice application, but it has it's quirks, and I've long wanted to have an alternative that I could make some choice adjustments to.
Conclusions
While this is still a work in progress, I though it useful to make an early note of the work here. I will also note the improvement in AI's ability to scope and execute work while managing context compared to the last couple of years. It's a much more reliable partner, and while it still requires significant hand holding and management, I've found my experience with exploring these systems has helped to have a better sense of which corners to watch while it drives.
